Michael Ortiz of the Fire Dept provided a lot of interesting information about our Fire Department at a meeting last week. El Paso has an ISO class 1 Fire Department, in the top 1% of the nation. Insurance companies use this in determining insurance for homeowners and commercial properties.
The Fire Department offers a safety check free of charge to homeowners to help them identify fire dangers. It is up to the homeowner on how or when any issues are mitigated. Call 771-1090 to arrange for someone to visit.
The Main Office is on Montana and has an interesting museum that is free.
